Is “Poking” on Facebook a Violation of a Restraining Order?

How many times have you been poked by a friend or a stranger? What was your reaction? Many dictionaries define the term Poke as a gesture of  tapping and/or softly jabbing another person with the tip of your finger or another object. This is usually done to capture this particular person’s attention, and is commonly used as a form of joking, teasing, or annoying that person. Now, poking on Facebook can be interpreted various ways ranging from the most innocent ones, to the most insulting ones, such as: “hi there,” “what’s up,” “hey, call me back,” “did you get my message?,” “thanks for the post,”  “you’re kinda cute,” “I’m stalking you,” “you remind me of my ex,” “I want you,” …
